Arsenal: hold the regular starters
Arsenal beat Coventry 3–0. Martin Ødegaard scored 11 points, Bukayo Saka scored nine, Kai Havertz got six and Ben White reached 11.
If you already own Saka, Ødegaard or White, hold. Calafiori played 80 minutes and assisted, but wait for another team sheet before buying an Arsenal defender whose place may still move.
Brighton: watch, do not chase
Brighton beat Aston Villa 4–0. Jack Hinshelwood scored twice in 63 minutes for 16 FPL points. Maxim De Cuyper scored, assisted and finished on 17.
Do not buy either player just for this score. Villa’s red card and own goal helped. Check whether both start again, where they play and whether they keep getting into the box.
City: hold Haaland, watch Cherki
City came back to beat Bournemouth 2–1. Marc Guéhi and Josko Gvardiol scored. Rayan Cherki made both goals after coming on and scored eight FPL points in 27 minutes.
Hold Haaland. He played 90 minutes and had good chances despite scoring two points. Put Cherki on the watchlist, but do not buy until he starts. Do not buy Guéhi or Gvardiol because of one goal.
Brentford: add the starters to your watchlist
Brentford beat Spurs 3–0. M. Sangaré scored 14 points with two assists and maximum bonus. Michael Kayode, Keane Lewis-Potter and Vitaly Janelt also returned.
Watch the Brentford starters for another match before buying. If you own a Spurs defender, do not take a hit to sell, but bench him in a poor fixture until the defence improves.
Hull punished United; Leeds found a clean sheet
Hull beat Manchester United 2–0. David Mendy reached 15 FPL points, Semi Ajayi scored 14 and Konstantinos Tzolakis returned 10 after five saves and maximum bonus. Bruno Fernandes and Bryan Mbeumo both played 90 minutes and both finished on two points.
Leeds won 1–0 at Nottingham Forest, with Anton Stach scoring 13 and the defence collecting clean-sheet returns. Dominic Calvert-Lewin played the full match but was booked and finished on one point. Everton's 2–0 win over Crystal Palace also put Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall on 11.
